Our dedicated toddler room is bursting with fun and stimulating activities and toys to help your little one grow, learn and develop. At Daisy Chain Day Nursery in Chesterfield, we believe in learning through play and our toddler room is equipped to facilitate this. Stimulating Learning Experiences For Your Toddler
Our toddler room provides your little one with a great range of activities to encourage interaction and engagement. From arts and crafts, to singing, story time and outside play, all our activities are designed to help develop social skills, build confidence and enable your toddler to develop and learn. Our activities are also carefully structured to allow a balanced approach to achieving our “Early Years Foundation Stage” (EYFS) framework.
Free play is also an option, helping children gain independence and allowing them to explore their interests further. Essential rest periods are scheduled into the day and nutritional meals and snacks are provided. Our staff are all qualified and experienced early years child care practitioners, and know how to get the best out of every child while maintaining a safe environment. At Daisy Chain Day Nursery in Chesterfield, we care for every child as you would.

Settling Your Toddler Into Nursery School
As with our baby and pre-school attendees, we encourage you to visit the nursery with your toddler prior to their first day (if they have not been with us in our baby room). We will provide you with documentation to complete where you can let us know any dietary requirements, allergies, routines etc – the more we know, the better we can help your toddler settle into life at Daisy Chain Day Nursery.
It’s also important you prepare you toddler by talking to them. Let them know what will be happening, where they will be going and how much fun it will be for them. This can help them prepare for the transition, resulting in a much calmer and happier first day!
